Myth number one– I need 20% down to buy a home. No, that’s not the case. There are so many loan types out there, and loan options that some even have no money down. You don’t know what you may be able to qualify for unless you ask the right questions and talk to the right people, aka the lender.
Myth number two– I’ll never qualify to buy a home. The question is, have you asked? Have you? The right team is crucial in finding out what you qualify for, and a great lender and agent will help guide you in the right direction. You don’t have any idea what you can afford until you ask.
Myth number three– This myth is in regards to selling your current home, and it is, I need to price my home with room to negotiate. Now, this can be a costly myth. Finally, myth number four– All agents are the same. No. Would you say that about you and your profession? No. That’s far from the truth.
