I met Anita 2 years ago when looking at a home where she was the sellers agent. I liked her vibe, so when a good friend of mine was looking for a down to earth agent I recommended Anita.
Anita sold my friend’s home in Chesterfield and found her a forever home here in Amelia. I actually started staging for Anita shortly after and we have become friends, so I knew I was going to use her when I was ready.
A few weeks ago we put a contract on a house we lost in a bidding war, so I decided I would sign another lease and wait until spring 2025, to start looking again. But that did not happen, instead we received a letter that my lease would not be renewed and I had 60 days to vacate. I knew I’d never find a home I loved and would have to settle, or even worse move out of the county.
Anita told me not to worry it would work out, and did it ever!
I was notified of the non-renewal on 12/17, and by Christmas Eve, we had put a contract on a home and were having the home inspection completed! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
